This section reflects the Care Act 2014 and the Care and Support Statutory Guidance (Department of Health and Social Care) and other relevant legislation and information. In  particular Promoting Wellbeing, Preventing, Delaying or Reducing Needs and Information and Advice are the three main areas which underpin the Act.

Person Centred Care and Support

The chapters in this section are a combination of those taken from the Care and Support Statutory Guidance (Department of Health and Social Care) and other areas of person centred care.

Local Services and Teams

This section reflects the services and teams in Greenwich which provide person centred care.

Carers

This section reflects Chapter 14, Safeguarding, Care and Support Statutory Guidance (Department of Health and Social Care), Royal Borough of Greenwich Safeguarding Board information and other safeguarding issues.

This section reflects the Care and Support Statutory Guidance (Department of Health and Social Care), but also other fundamental issues such as information sharing and the involvement of people who use services – key to the ethos of the Care Act – and staff engagement.
